Steven Zerby
Is there some way to apply a texture to the underside of a roof face? Can't seem to do it with mapping. The texture seems only to apply to the top surface of the roof. Steve Zerby Edited May 4, 2012 by Steven Zerby Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
If you select the Roof Face, then go the Render Tab of the Object Info Palette, you will find a pulldown called "Part". In that pulldown, choose "Bottom", then choose a texture, and Bingo, Bob's your uncle... HTH Quote Link to comment
cad@sggsa
Is this when the roof is created by the roof tool? Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
It is basically the same for a Roof (created with the Create Roof command) or a Roof Face (created with the Roof Face command). Both types of objects are able to have texture(s) applied to their various different parts (top, bottom, etc). via the Render Tab in the OIP (Object Info Palette). Quote Link to comment
