alfresco
I am still not familiar with 2012 and stories. I am creating a model with 3 stories and roof in 2 stories. When I go to add the roof components such as facia, they are at a different elevation relative to the stories/roof and not attached to the roof. I cannot seem to see where to change the elevation for the components to match the roof elevations? Thanks! Quote Link to comment

alfresco
Tamsin, Thank you very much! I was wondering. Would it be best to ungroup realign and regroup? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Tamsin Slatter Posted April 12, 2012 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 12, 2012 Hello again. Sorry for the delay - time difference! Yes, you can ungroup the roof and then edit each element separately. The downside of this is that it will no longer know its a roof. I don't know if you need it to remain "self-aware"? You will be left with a series of Roof Faces and the geometry of the fascia. Hope that helps! Quote Link to comment
