Move fill/line attributes to OIP

Chris D

Question

Further to the thread in the General Discussion forum on this issue, I propose that the fill/line attributes are moved to the OIP like this:

Fill and Line should be more closely associated with other object properties such as texture and fore/background render settings, and should largely be set by class, particularly in a BIM workflow.

This area on the OIP could collapse, and the existing Attributes Palette could remain available for legacy workflows and users who frequently work 'off-class'.

Sorry Chris, whilst i appreciate your needs, the OIP is still struggling to give us the basic necessary feedback that it was designed to give when it first appeared.

Yes, attributes would improve things, but all too often more important aspects like precise Co-Ords(X,Y,Z), Rotation(X,Y,Z), and many more are Still missing from the the OIP. 2D obj are well represented but all too often the 3D obj get a 3rd class citizen rational.

Fix this first, then by all means fill it with as many extras as you see fit, but like so many other aspects of VW, the basics need to work perfectly before you add the shine.
