Waldo
Hello all, I am wanting to draw a circle that is tangent between three arcs. I know I can do this if the circle is tangent between three straight lines, but I can not seem to do this between three arcs. I know this is possible in AutoCAD. Is it possible in Vectorworks? If not, can someone mention to the higher ups to make this possible. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Craig D.S.
Waldo This is one that I can answer. one would need to 1 draw a line(1) center to center of the 3 circles 2 and then another line from center of circle to midpoint of the opposing large tangent line(1) 3 draw lines(3) from the intersection of the outside lines (1) with the circles 3 move or copy line(3) out to and snap to the intersection of lines (2&3) draw circle tan to those last 3 lines Like the attached HTH Quote Link to comment
