Patterns, Hatches

Two questions re PATTERNS and HATCHES:

1) How can I create a pattern with no background?

2) How can I create a hatch that is NOT based on an existing hatch?

I am trying to create a simple dot hatch -- black dots, no background -- for a diagram.

espie, Welcome to the forum. It is generally helpful if you create a profile (My Stuff, above) which includes your OS and VW's versions.

1) "Patterns" are built in to the OS. Some (the lower half on a Mac) are modifiable, however I know of no way to remove the opaque background.

2) To create a new Hatch, in the Resource Browser go to the Resources Pulldown>New Resource>Hatch. The Edit Hatch window will open and it will be blank.
