billtheia
I'm working on customizing space labels. Can someone out there tell me where I might find the "parameters" for them? #1# is room name #2# is room number. Are there numbers for area, width, height, clg. ht., etc? Thanks. michaelk
If you run Pat's find field script on a space object it will return all the available parameter fields. I believe there are about 190. I've never tried it, but you may be able to add attached text to the Space Tag symbol... mk Quote Link to comment
Farookey
Hi... I don't think you need to attach it in that way... #1# is not necessarily room name, neither is #2# necessarily room number. These can be controlled in the 'Settings' of the space tool under the 'Space Label' area. Where the list would show you the info you will see for that particular tag selected. You can easily select them and (below the list) in the drop down menu, select a different parameter to display. You can enter the symbol, and create another text box #3#, #4#, ... and go into the 'Settings' for the space and assign the different parameters for that particular tag symbol... Hope this answers your Q... Quote Link to comment

billtheia
OK. Now that I have that figured out, how do I change the number of decimal places for net area? It shows 3 places and I'd like to show in whole numbers. Quote Link to comment
Farookey
That would be in your document's 'Units' settings I believe... File > Document Settings > Units... Change the decimal places to what you desire in the 'Areas' portion of the dialog. Quote Link to comment
