BushyRS
Hi If i am trying to draw an existing victorian type house the windows have an exposed lintel with square ends running into the brickwork, i cannot seem to do this on the normal window, just mitred over hangs? Anyone got any ideas? Or is it a case fo drawing the lintel in afterwards? [img:right]http://www.freeimageslive.co.uk/files/images006/grille_straight_9067.jpg[/img] Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
you can set the mitre angle to 90?, this will make square ends, but you do not have fine control over the height, width and overhang of the lintel (they are all controlled by the thickness). why not create a symbol for the window. This would allow you to create the exact size of the window, lintel, sill and the grill. You could assign textures to the individual parts, and use the Edit 3D Wall Hole Component to make sure you get the accurate hole in the wall. Quote Link to comment
