StaticDOS
Hi guys, I have a 600mm wall and I want a door to be hinged in the centre of the wall but when I insert a door it hinges flush with one side of the wall how do I get it to hinge in the centre of the wall? Thanks Quote Link to comment
Mitchell Brooks
Set the offset in the OIP and change the jamb depth to 0"? Quote Link to comment
taoist
OK. But what about the jamb depth showing correctly in relation to the wall? taoist Quote Link to comment
Mitchell Brooks
OK, you want a full jamb in a thick wall but want to place the door in the middle of the jamb, right? Don't think you can do it with the door PIO. You would have to create a door symbol that is set up that way. You could take the door PIO as far as you can go with it re. definition (size, thickness, etc.) and then make it a group and then a symbol. You will have to re-create any 3D geometry you would want though. This type of door arrangement will inhibit the door from swinging fully open, right? Quote Link to comment
taoist
Think of a restaurant double swing door or or saloon type doors. taoist Quote Link to comment
