florag
Simply trying to apply a glass tinted texture to a wall. Have selected my plain colour (light blue)...but after clicking 'ok' it still shows as a gradient from blue to black (please see attachment) how do i solve this so that it is just one tinted colour with no gradient? bcd
Either: Edit the texture in the Resource Browser or Click the little down arrow beside the Texture Name in the OIP to edit/duplicate & edit the texture. Quote Link to comment
Farookey
Hi... I believe that the gradient appearance (in the preview) signifies that the particular texture has a certain level of transparency to it. I am sure that if you apply it to an object, it will be as you created; a blue tinted glass texture (once it is created correctly of course!) Hope this helps! Quote Link to comment
florag
Many thanks guys! I wasn't rendering it in final quality as well, now it looks way better. Quote Link to comment
