Chris Rogers
I have searched the forum, but can't find where anyone asked this question yet. I'm probably asking it wrong. How can I get the sheet layers in the drop down and the navigation popup to stack in the same order that they are in the sheet set, which is not alphabetically since I have Arch cover sheet, civil and landscape, arch, SMFPE, Audio, etc.? Thanks for the input. Quote Link to comment
Mitchell Brooks
I'm using VW 2011 but you can select the order of appearance of the listings of your sheet layers in the Sheet Dialog box and the layers in the Navigation Palette as you choose, by number (ascending or descending) or name (ascending or descending). The simple answer, I guess, would be to number your sheets as you want to see them, 1, 2, 3, etc. and then sort them that way in the above locations. HTH. Quote Link to comment
Miguel Barrera
And if you have more than 9 sheets, you probably need to prefix the first ones as 01,02,...09 since the sheets are displayed in alphabetical order Quote Link to comment
rsa
I think you can't get the order you want unless you do something like adding a number order prefix to the sheet number or title. So if you want the A cover sheet first and then Civil you could have sheet titles '001 Arch cover', '002 Civil plan', '003 Civil details', etc. and then sort by title... Quote Link to comment
Chris Rogers
My sheets are sorted by sheet number, but I need to make P1.0 come before E1.0. I am on 2011, so I see I need to update my profile. Quote Link to comment
