bats Posted March 24, 2011 Share Posted March 24, 2011 (edited) I recently had to re-format my hard drive due to other software crashing the PC. Files on the old hard drive were copied onto an external hard drive. Now that I have reloaded VW2009 onto the clean HD, how do I retrieve the plant database records that I had created before the reformat? In other words where were they stored so that I can import these files into the new database? Or will I have to rewrite all of these pages? I have tried searching for specific database pages in the external hard drive, but without result. Edited March 24, 2011 by bats Quote Link to comment
Nico_be Posted March 29, 2011 Share Posted March 29, 2011 search for "vwplant.usr" on your hard drive and replace it by the files on your backup.. The file on your backup is probably bigger than the original. Quote Link to comment
