  1. I recently had to get a new PC after the old one got fried. I was running VW2009 on Windows XP. I now have it on Windows 7. I had to upload msvcr71.dll to get it to run OK. I used the Aus plant database alot. I had added maybe 200+ files of my own to the database including pics. It was a very useful tool for planting plans, especially the search facility. My problem is, can I retrieve these old files from my old HD which is also installed in the new PC? If so, how? I have tried to import the Aus plant database but it comes up as nonsense....as does the basic installed database. I really need the old files I created to save me having to spend several days re-writing them onto the new database. I took hard copies after once losing them all before when my old PC crashed, so at least I have the info.
  2. I recently had to re-format my hard drive due to other software crashing the PC. Files on the old hard drive were copied onto an external hard drive. Now that I have reloaded VW2009 onto the clean HD, how do I retrieve the plant database records that I had created before the reformat? In other words where were they stored so that I can import these files into the new database? Or will I have to rewrite all of these pages? I have tried searching for specific database pages in the external hard drive, but without result.
