mar schrammeyer
the export Quicktime VR object menu item is still there but it exports nothing, I can export the file to 2010 and I can export it from there but, if the VR object was scrapped why is the menu still there? Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Its still works. You just need to use an older version of QuickTime to play and see it. Edited October 16, 2010 by mike m oz Quote Link to comment
mar schrammeyer
when I try to open the file with QT 7 it tells me it is not a movie file and it is 0 kb, when instigating the export it does it in 5 seconds one render and finished, is there some new setting somewhere? mike m oz
mar, it works for me. Though I am surprised by how large the files are now. The attached image shows a simple tapered extrude at 304 MB and another simple object with textures at 750 MB. I'm wondering whether your problem is insufficient RAM. mar schrammeyer
that is ginormous & ridiculous, I'll buy some more ram and see thanks Mike Quote Link to comment
