John Windswept Design
I click the location of the id, then the window. I get a ID settings dialog box with no options for the ID label. I do the same for the next window and it labels it the with same number. It tool seems corrupt. Any ideas? John T Quote Link to comment
John Windswept Design
Even the bubble style doesn't work. There is a just a blank field. Any help woild be appreciated. This will be the second project that I will have to make my window schedual with text because I can't get VW to function. Another issue I'm having is space tool. I would like the to hit each room with the bucket and have a rm name, number and size appear just like the video of this function. After an hour I had enough. Any Help would be greatly appreciated as I have to projects due for the building permit process Quote Link to comment
Assemblage
What exact problem are you having with the bucket on the Space Tool? It's true it takes a long time, and takes account of interior window ledges etc which you don't want it to, but it can work. We find it's quicker using polygons then converting however. Bye the by, if any of the boundary walls are part of a symbol we found using the paint bucket on the Space Object puts the program into a tail-spin and it crashes every time. Quote Link to comment
Jeffrey W Ouellette
John, The window and door objects have an ID bubble built into them, you just have to turn it on by selecting the "On Schedule" option. Then you can control the ID number and the style in which it is drawn (bubble, box, etc.). For the Space object, you can manage the Label/Tag from the Settings... dialog. For custom Labels/Tags, you can create your own and then use those. Quote Link to comment
