INTERIOR ELEVATION MARKER

A useful addition to the existing plug-in Elevation Marker would be for an interior elevation reference marker; square center with 4 optional triangle faces with the ability to number each through the Object Info. Does such a tool exist?

Not within Vw at the moment. There should be.

Thanks for the link. I found those too, but they have limitations for text size control, arrow fill, and control of scale between different viewports, as far as I can tell.

Flapjack, once you download those plugins you can always go into the vectorscript itself and change the default text sizing. Thats what we do at our firm.

Thanks. Scripting will be new to me, but something I probably should know; I've been skipping over it for years relying on smarter people to do it I guess.

Still, will I have to adjust it in every viewport where the scale changes? Not sure how that will work.

In-house I just created my own symbol (not a plug-in, but rather using record formats to enter data) with multiple parts for each scale, then turn on/off class visibilities to hide the out of scale components of the marker. There must be a better way, but it's working for now.
