hgdesign Posted March 30, 2010 Share Posted March 30, 2010 When i created a dormer all looks ok except dormer can not be rendered - it does not show as a 'part' of the roof. I think it may have something to do with the window when dormer was created but i'm not sure. Any suggestions? Quote Link to comment
Damon Design Posted March 30, 2010 Share Posted March 30, 2010 I would delve into the class settings for the dormer and see if any of the attributes of any of its elements are "none" or clear. You might have to break it up (ungroup) to apply the attributes you wish. Quote Link to comment

hgdesign Posted April 1, 2010 Author Share Posted April 1, 2010 Seems I encountered another problem....after ungrouping I was able to render the dormer sides, however I didn't notice earlier that the window, which was used initially to create the dormer is now 'covered' by the siding. Because I ungrouped the dormer and roof I can't seem to recover the window. If I delete the front face of the dormer, the window is there. What's up? Quote Link to comment
