***KAREN***
How do I create a plywood hatch? I am using VW 2009 Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
There are some good basic hatches in the Resource Folders. In most cases, depending on the exact hatch you need to create, you can start with one of the included hatches, then duplicate it and modify the duplicate to your liking. This is also a good way to get to know the VW's Hatch Creation/Editing window, which is notoriously non-intuitive and often complained about. While it's true that the hatch editor is less than perfect, once you understand how it works it's pretty easy to create very good hatches. HTH's Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
You can also use the Linear Material tool for plywood detail. Quote Link to comment
Bob Holtzmann
I also use the Linear Material tool (detailing tool set) in wall sections and framing details. What's great about it is the 3/4" plywood shows 3 layered plys. And using it in gypsum board mode shows stipple, although the dotted hatch there is quite a bit heavy.
