Editing multiple lights at once

Does anybody else think that it's very silly that you can no longer capture multiple instruments and edit them as a group in the OIP. Instead of a quick operation to turn on and off or dim multiple instruments you have to edit them one at a time.... with a right click. NO OTHER OPERATION HAS THIS.

THIS IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. Who thought this was better???

I just tried it, and it seems to work at least in this way:

Shift click on multiple instruments in the Vis Palette > Right click > Edit... > you are at the Properties Palette.

You can also turn lights on and off right from the Vis Palette w/ multiple units at a time.
