billgore
I'm trying to cut an arched opening in a curved wall but I keep getting some extra objects projecting at the jamb sides of the opening. Anyone know why this is happening. I've attached an image. thanks Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Do you have the "use wall thickness" box checked?? Quote Link to comment
billgore
I've got the use wall thickness box checked. I also have the same arched opening with the same settings in a straight wall and it shows fine. Anyone seen this before? Quote Link to comment
brudgers
Which version of Vectorworks are you using? What operating system are you using? Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Ah, this is a bug I think. And yes, having your VW's and System info might be helpful. Quote Link to comment
billgore
Got it fixed. I had to uncheck the use wall depth and then make sure the jamb depth setting was set to 0". It would not work with the use wall depth option. I 'am using Architect 2009. on a mac using 10.5.7 Quote Link to comment
brudgers
That makes sense, since using the normal as the wall depth would create a tapered opening, which is not something vectorworks walls do automatically. Quote Link to comment
