alfresco
I am working on a project with exterior landings at entances to a residence. I would like to access the landing from three sides. I want to create steps using the stairs tool However, I have not been able to create the u shape steps to the landing without additional set of stairs. What am I doing wrong? Or should I be creating the steps using another method? If I use the stairs tool and create steps on all three sides, using straight stairs, the stairs overlap and I cannot connect them at the necessary 45 degree angle. I wanted to use the stairs tool since I am producing a 3D model of the plan. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Are you trying to make a 3 sided cascading stair?? If so, it is really easy to model using floors (or extrudes). The stair plug-in is really not the right tool for this type of stair. See attached, which took about a minute to create... Edited February 4, 2009 by CipesDesign Quote Link to comment
alfresco
Thank you very much Peter. Yes, that is exactly what I am trying to create. I will do as you suggested. I greatly appreciate your support. Quote Link to comment
