MODIFYING DIMENSION LINE

Recommended Posts

In addition to the normal object attributes (color, thickness, markers, font, font size), most of the other visibility characteristics of dimensions are controlled by the dimension standard.

You can change the dimension standard for a given selected dimension (or multiple selected dimensions) in the Object Info Palette.

If you don't like any of the default standards, you can create your own standard in the Document preferences, under the Dimensions tab.

If you do change a standard, it is only in that one file. You can Import standards from other files, but you are probably better off making a template that includes your custom standard.
