AaronD Posted September 16, 2008 Share Posted September 16, 2008 ive just bought a new laptop an installed VW2008 on it, i can open VW and model up but as soon as i click 'save' or 'open' etc from the file menu, VW immediately crashes/closes. any ideas as to why this is happening?? im running windows vista (32 bit?? i think) with 3Gb RAM and dual core 2.6 processor so i dont think it could be performance related. Ray Libby Posted September 16, 2008 Share Posted September 16, 2008 Updating to SP3 is good advice. Try right clicking VectorWorks2008.exe in the VectorWorks folder, choose Properties. Under the Compatibility tab check "Run this program as an administrator". Quote Link to comment
