C W
Is there a stock S.S. Roof Texture in the library... can't seem to find one? Or is there a way to create one that will look good on a somewhat complicated roof? Quote Link to comment
brudgers
If you export the image from one of the siding textures, rotate it 90 degrees, you might get something you can use. Quote Link to comment
C W
Thanks Brudgers! That works pretty good. May edit the mapping a little but beyond that you sold me! Edited June 17, 2008 by C W Quote Link to comment
islandmon
If you're referring to Standing Seam Roofing panels, and if the design is critical. Then you should consider modeling the panels so as to get exactly the correct alignments within the ridges & valleys. Installation tolerances of the panels are very specific. Quote Link to comment
panthony
follow this link http://www.steelselect.com/textures.php These guys have a pretty extensive modeling database for steel roofing textures. I have used them on several occasions. Pete A Quote Link to comment
brudgers
Thanks Brudgers! That works pretty good. May edit the mapping a little but beyond that you sold me! I'm glad it works for you. BTW It looks very familiar...I used the same texture to start with. Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
It would be nice to post this link in the Texture share forum, if no one else wants to I'll do it. Quote Link to comment
