Can't print certain large files from Macs to T1100PS

Hi everyone,

A company I'm consulting with is using an HP T1100PS, and some of the Macs won't print certain large files.

Other macs can print the large files just fine.

The symptom is that the job starts spooling, gets to about 55% and then stays there forever with no change.

Not sure what to look for. I've updated the printer firmware to the latest version, uninstalled and re-installed printer drivers, with no change in the behaviour.

Any ideas?

Is it Spooling to > File or to the Printer's RAM ?

Also .. check for a bunch of old 'temp' spool files ... which will stall the print jobs ... so delete them.

hmm, thats interesting.

Are you using this on a network and are you using Vectorworks 2008 service pack 2.

I am having problems with jobs taking 8-9 minutes, where as on the old 800ps they took 2-3 minutes!

what os x version also are they running?
