Okies - with the settings (top right of screen little black arrow) set to Use Floating Data Bar

I hit 2 (line tool) hover over say the corner of a rectangle or whatever hit the G key then Tab Tab (in the X Field) enter in 200 for 200 mms and hit the enter key - the dashed line you snap to appears but disappears straight away and I cannot snap to it.

Anyone else experiencing this or am I doing something wrong

Tried this again

2 for line tool - G key - Tab - input X amount - Tab - I can lock to the dashed line - no Enter Key is required

For X and Y coordinates - same

5 for Polyline tool - G key - Tab - input X amount - Tab - input Y amount and I can snap to the intersection of the two dashed lines

Is this how the Data Bar should work - no Enter Key

Once you enter the dimension distance use the TAB key rather than enter.

Yes, that's the new way of entering constraints. The Enter key is reserved for completing the object.
