How to get glass door panel to show/render?

I will admit that the required steps here are bit over-the-top - it should be easier. But as explained to me by NNA, there is something about the way that light (in renderworks) travels through and/or bouces off "glass" textures which requires the programmers to create door panels with two (2) actual "glass" surfaces...

MY usual working methodology is to create one such door, then duplicate it and change size/location as needed (or convert it into a symbol). This means that I only have to go through the "Settings" rigamarole once for each type of door/window in my drawing. Hope that helps...
