Windows 2000 and VW

I use Vw on a mac at work and a PC at home. At home I'm about to purchase a new computer and am considering getting windows 2000. From what I've read it sounds incredibly stable for a MS windows OS. Is VW able to run on windows 2000 and what version do I need? Win 98 version or the Win NT version?

VectorWorks 8.5.1 and 2b9 are working well on Windows 2000. There have been no reported cases running both.
