Date stamp for the Revision Cloud tool

I'd like a date stamp to be added to the Revision Cloud tool in the Object Info Palette, so one can view the date a Revision Cloud was drawn. Maybe with the option to add the date stamp to the drawing (next to the Revision Cloud), although we wouldn't use this option.

Being able to see the date the Revision Cloud was drawn would make them much easier to manage.

The Redline tool currently offers this combination.

Except that it doesn't draw a cloud.

Yeah it does have a date stamp, but there doesn't appear to be a way to turn off the associate notation.

You can grab the shoulder and move it in. The tag length field is in the OIP - you can reduce this to a small number.

You can also ungroup it and delete the lines.

Thanks Katie, but we just want the cloud. We don't want the date showing on the drawing. And asking people to use the redline tool then ungroup it and delete parts of it is not something I'm willing to ask people to do.

I'm confused -- your post states you are looking for a date stamp for the revision cloud, but your last post says you don't want the date?

No just in the OIP, with an option to add it to the drawing.

So would you like the redline tool to give you the option of whether or not to add the date to the redline?

Haven't thought about that Katie, but being that we'd only use the Redline tool internally I don't think it would matter for us.
