td4stage Posted February 9, 2007 Share Posted February 9, 2007 Hello, The lab that I am teaching VW in has 12.5 installed. When my students group objects, particularly circles, then ungroups them, the circles are turned into polygons. I don't think this happens on my laptop with v12.5. Sorry, I can't test as my dongle is in my office. Has anybody else noticed this? I'd rather not have to upgrade to v12.51 until after the semester because the lab was quite, uh, problematic to install and I don't want to risk trouble! Thanks for any advice! Benson Shaw Posted February 9, 2007 Share Posted February 9, 2007 With 12.5.1 on my system, the circles remain circles whether filled or not. Sorry, can't test the 12.5.0. I drew a bunch of circles and grouped them with some polys. Did some extrudes, fills, patterns, etc to individual objects in the group. Exited group and ungrouped. All objects retained their proper object type. Did some other command happen by mistake? mouse click unknowingly programmed to do something unexpected? Good luck. -B Quote Link to comment
