jeffroyer
Zooming creates a very distorted image when done with the trackpad. I typically have a mouse running at the office but not always when at a client meeting. Is this a bug or a settings issue? Quote Link to comment
Gytis
Can't duplicate problem. What exactly is distorted? Pls provide more info...versions.... Quote Link to comment
jeffroyer
Gytis, I have about the same equipment and software as you with the exception of 1Gb. When I zoom in or out with the trackpad function (two finger scroll on pad) the lines become VERY pixilated. If I move about a bit I can get it to correct itself but not without some effort. I take it that you don't experience the same problem with your macpro? Quote Link to comment
Gytis
I don't normally use two fingers for zooming but for scrolling, so I don't have a a lot to compare to, but no, I'm not experiencing the problem. If I zoom to 80,000% I get some pixelation for a moment; however, I don't think that's what you mean. You're zooming to lines, not renderings, right? And it is different than when you zoom with a mouse wheel or the zoom tool? Quote Link to comment
jeffroyer
I don't have any problem with my mouse wheel. I don't typically use the zoom tool from the palette. The problem is only with the trackpad and it is for line drawings. Pixelated is the best description I can give although it is not really accurate. Maybe I just need to get used to taking my mouse along! Quote Link to comment
