Plant Tags Solid Black

Help please if you can! When I place plants in VW12.5 the plant tags are solid black. What can I do???? I've tried everything but to no avail !!

Have looked to see if the Plant Tag is a symbol? If so then select >edit symbol and see which class is the problem. Then modify the class attributes.

If you are using VWL 12 the Plant Tags can reside in a Class of your choice - Plant Tool - choose your Plant - Edit Current and see which Class the Plant Tag lives.

Or the default fill is set to a black color with black pen.

Select the plant and take a look at the Attribute palette. If the color is set to black and black for the pen and fill, change the fill to white.

If the Attributes have an arrow pointing to the upper right, then adjust the plant tags class - I think it's called Plant Specs.

If you are working on a black background, you may need to toggle the " No Fill Behind Text" VectorWorks Preference (under the Tools>Options menu)

I am very grateful for the assistance.

I found the problem in the Plant Tag Class, which was set to have a black fill for some reason. I promise it wasn't me !
