nycL45
In the past, the log was located in the VW folder so, where is the VW12.5 log these days? Oh, BTW, I do have the log feature activated in the Preferences. Quote Link to comment
P Retondo
If you are on a Windows computer, it should be in your user data (C:Documents and settings/Username/Application Data etc.). I haven't tried unchecking the log time box, but I do believe you need to check the appropriate settings box. Quote Link to comment
G_Hannigan
It's possible that your Application Data folder is "Hidden". If it doesn't appear in your "Username" folder, click on Tools>Folder Options>View Tab>Show Hidden Files and Folders. I found mine in Nemetschek/Vectorworks. I don't see a way to tell VW where to create this file or why MS hides them??! George Quote Link to comment
nycL45
Thx for the responses. Yep, I'm Mac; I thought this was a generic issue. I did a search on "Application Data" and found nothing on my HD. So, I still need some help on this. Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Click on the search button at the top of the page. Under Keyword search terms enter "log time" and check the radio button "in subject". Under Date Range choose 1 year. Quote Link to comment
nycL45
Click on the search button at the top of the page. Under Keyword search terms enter "log time" and check the radio button "in subject". Under Date Range choose 1 year. I did almost exactly this (I did 3 mos, not 12) before posting here and just did it for 1year. I got the same results. Did you actually find posts pertaining to the log location? If so, please post references. Katie, are you out here? Please help. Edited November 13, 2006 by nycL45 Quote Link to comment

nycL45
Ray, thanks for that. I just tried it again and up it came. I did something wrong earlier - who knows what. I selected "*Discussion Areas*" this time and maybe that was what I should have done to begin with. Quote Link to comment
