mwysolme
I am trying to create lighting positions, i was able to use stock pipes ie 50' and put a light on it and give it a z height no problem so that when i clicked the object info for the pipe it would say that 1 light was on it, as soon as i try to create my own lighting position, a pipe to the length i need, it works fine i can put a light on it and it tells me its there but i cant give it a z height, i type in 26' and it goes right back to 0 any ideas? mwysolme
would i go about that by extruding it? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted November 7, 2005 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 7, 2005 If you just need a 3D element you can just exturde a copy of the 2D. Group both objects (2D and the 3D extrude) then convert to a lighting position. Quote Link to comment
