barnes2000
Newbie here. I'm wanting to place some moving lights on the stage floor. I'm just trying it right now with a rectangle extruded 2ft. Then I try to place a Studio Spot right side up on top, but it places it inverted as if it were going on a truss. I can rotate it 180 degrees, however, when I export it to ESP Vision, it still shows it inverted. Is there some sort of step I am missing when wanting to put lights on the floor? Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted September 21, 2005 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 21, 2005 When you run the convert/edit light command to assign the universe information, the edit bindings sub dialog that lets you set the orientation of the instrument. barnes2000
I guess I'm doing something wrong. I did find the edit bindings option. I selected the right fixture and rotated the position, but it still is not right in ESP. Also I notice in VW that when I select the fixture, the selection handles at the corners of the object stay in place when I move the light. For example, in Front view, the bottom handles stay at Y=0 when I move the light up. Can I attach images to this forum? Scott Quote Link to comment
