littlenev Posted September 28, 2006 Share Posted September 28, 2006 In VW 12.5 I am finding that when the Object Info palette is docked to the right hand side, I cannot scrole the fonts - the scrole arrow is hidden (off the screen) and the mouse wheel fails to scrole! G_Hannigan Posted September 28, 2006 Share Posted September 28, 2006 It often helps to give some info on your system, Mac or PC, OS version, etc. I'm on WXP Pro, when I dock a palette, it automatically adjusts so that all of it can be seen. Check "Options","VW Preferences", "Session". Towards the bottom I have selected "Allow Palette Docking". Quote Link to comment

For example, if the mouse?s scrolling size is set to ?none,? mouse scrolling in VectorWorks is disabled. (The specific settings required for this feature depend on the type of mouse being used.)" littlenev Posted September 28, 2006 Author Share Posted September 28, 2006 Yes wheel works in other applications including vectorworks. Having just openned 12.01 again, I note that I am getting the same functions working ( the drop down list does not scrole with the mouse wheel, only the scrole bar, so maybe that is all I should be expecting. The object info palette itself does scrole with the wheel. Main difference between 12.5 and 12.01 appear to be the width of the drop down box - in 12.01 the scrole bar always remains visible and font descriptions begin to dissapear when the palette width is decreased. - In 12.5, the scrole bar dissapears and font description remains visible. Not a major problem, but visible workin area is reduced in width by 15mm Quote Link to comment
