Christiaan
On page 21-36 of the VW Design Series manual, it says: To use databases efficiently in a multiple-user environment, the database files should be placed on a network. However it doesn't explain how you should do this or how to make it the active database. If you go into the Notes Manager it always seems to default to the following database even if you choose a new one: Vectorworks>Plug-ins>Common>Data>Notes>Callouts.txt Does this mean I have to make an alias/shortcut to the networkworked database and place it in the above directory on all machines? Ken
Did you apply settings to all new documents? If you have and it's still not working... or for the similar "general notes" database, I've discovered that if you duplicate the text file and put it where you want it, then DELETE the original one, every new or blank file will go to the new location by default -- assuming that the new location is always accessible. Also perhaps it needs to be "established" in each computer -- a one-time thing for each computer. Quote Link to comment
