esambell
I'm trying to render a simple scene as a hidden line oblique elevation. It consists of about 12 drapes and 4 truss lines, some roof trusses and a stage. Admitedley the overall drawing is quite complex, but only a few layers are turned on. Even if I only turn the drapes on it still takes an obscenely long time to do the projection, upwards of ten minutes. In my experience with other CAD software(not mentioning any names...) on the same computer, a similarily complex task would take a fraction of the time. Any tips? Thanks, Eric Sambell Quote Link to comment

esambell
Well, that was an easy fix....if only I could get it to stop crashing whenever I try and do an openGL render....I guess that's tommorow.... Eric Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted June 23, 2006 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 23, 2006 It's probably a bad texture. Try deleting and reapplying the textures incluging textures applied to geometry within the symbols. Quote Link to comment
