barnes2000
I was able to import a JPEG into my resource browser and then I clicked and dragged the image onto a 3D box, but I can not see the image on the object. The attributes window shows that the fill does have the image on it, but I can not see it or edit it. I have tried to preview it in OpenGL, but nothing. What am I doing wrong? Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted June 20, 2006 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 20, 2006 Is the image an Image resource or a RenderWorks Texture resource? Quote Link to comment
barnes2000
I'm obviously new, but I think it's an Image Resource. I'm not sure about Renderworks Texture resource. Edited June 20, 2006 by barnes2000 Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted June 21, 2006 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 21, 2006 There are some things to learn, for new users. Image Resources are 2D attributes (applicable to 2D geometry) and Texture Resources are corresponding 3D attributes (applicable to 3D geometry for 3D rendering). Create a texture resource and drag it onto your 3D geometry to see it in a rendered view. Quote Link to comment
