James Milkey
I'm on an XP PC running Spotlight 10.5.1. When I insert a lighting object into a group the program crashes. It's done this since 10.0. Any ideas if there will be a 10.5.2 to fix this? [ 01-22-2004, 06:30 PM: Message edited by: James Milkey ] Quote Link to comment
Guest
James, Can you explain the steps you are taking? I had a group of objects that I grouped. I edited the group and placed a lighting instrument using the inst. insertion tool. I clicked on Done and the program didn't crash. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted January 23, 2004 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 23, 2004 James, It didn't crash when I tried it, however it did delete the entire group. This problem has been buglisted and will be fixed for the next release. Quote Link to comment
James Milkey
Basically I draw a rectangle to serve as a lighting position(although I don't convert it to a lighting postion), then I draw lighting objects on top of it and group them all together. But when I edit the group and need to add a unit, it's then when I insert a new object I get a runtime error and the program quits.
