layer views

I'd like to be able to toggle the "align layer views" option so that I wouldn't have to keep selecting it everytime I make a view change in a layer with multiple layers active. Yes, I know that a layer link does this, but it seems redundant to me to create a layer link just to work on a layer I've already created.

It sounds like you'll really like the Stacked Layers view new in Version 12.

I agree with Grant.

Stacked layers is good for viewing the model, but many operations won't function with it turned on. (at least mine don't).

No I can't remember now which particular operations don't work, I just got sick of getting the "you can't do that with stacked layers turned on" message, and stopped using it.

Layer links (which is really what stacked layers are) won't let you edit the individual layers either.

For working on the drg, I think Align Layer views is more usefull.
