bonus
When exporting to dwg for Autocad users I have a problem: If objects with different class assignments are grouped they disappear at export. Would be useful to have a automatic "ungroup all objects with different class assignment"-function by export. As it is I have to duplicate the file and then ungroup all objects before exporting. 0 Delmer
That shouldn't happen. If something in class A is grouped with something in class B and put in the none class without converting objects to group attributes, in the dwg you should get a block in the none layer. Explode it and you have an object in layer A and an object in layer B. If you take that same VW setup and export by layers the group will be in ACAD layer "Design Layer-1" or whatever you might have named it. Explode it and you'll see your objects will be dumped into the 0 layer. Typically you export classes to groups. I can't think of what else you would be doing. Quote Link to comment
