Texture randomizer

SacSurfin'

Question

I get pretty sick and tired of offsetting and moving around the textures with patterns, so everything with that texture doesn't look the same. For example, when building a fence, there are alot of wood planks and once a wood texture is applied they all look exactly the same so then you have to go in and move around the textures on a bunch of them so they look real. dependent on the length, this could potentially take a real long time. The ability to select all of the same textured objects, then have a randomizer button to move around all the textures at once would be fantastic. I come across this problem way too often.

I agree, I work with wood textures alot and find this to be very anoying. Even offseting the textures doesn't give the difference I'm looking for. A peice of furniture ends up looking up like a solid wood block instead of individual components... A texture and grain randomizer along with slight color variation would help.
