ChollyO
Can someone please explain the use of the Cable Path tool? As I have seen in the VW University tutorials, it is supposed to allow for you to click on a path and then jump out of it anywhere along the path but I cannot get it to work in that manner. Anytime I click a path it jumps to one end of the path instead of joining where I'm clicking. I was also under the impression that once you join a Cable Path you are supposed to be able to track along the path and the cable will jump out at any point nearest to the path itself. This is not the case in my work with it. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Scott C. Parker Posted March 11 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 11 Hold down the Alt key to jump out of the path at any point before the end. Click outside the path to set the exit point and then connect to the object you're connecting to. It's not automatic yet. 2 Quote Link to comment
