Creating a plug-in object

Hello everyone,


I'm trying to create a venetian shader plug-in object, that will get it's parameters from a window it will be associated to.


It's Section should look like this:



While X will be determined by the window's height, and the plan view should look like that:



At the window's width.


Can anyone help me? Where should I begin?
