Filter equipment list count

Helo.

I would like my equipment list to referr to a viewport which is filtered by a layer. Equipment list unfortunately shows total number of fixtures instead of an amount which populates one specific viewport. Filter in Equipment Summary List does the job for a viewport but not for Equipment list. What am I missing?

Yeah, sure. Excuse my language skills. One picture better than a hundred words. I want my equipment tell me count of fixtures in this viewport only. Counts we see sumarize all the layers. This is Sheet layer 2 in my file. I hope it makes sense now.

Thanks for the file. The incorrect counting is a bug that we're working on. I'm testing a workaround and will send it if I can figure it out.

Hi Tomas,

I've found two workarounds for this. Neither are solutions, but temporary fixes.

First, make a report and filter it by your floor layer.

Second, create a floor position, anchor all units on the floor to it, and place a position summary key.

The worksheet has everything in the layer, while the position summary key only has items on the floor, not on ladders or the four strip lights up high. I explain both in the attached video.
