ASydDesigns
Hi, I need to adjust the height of a railing system in Vectorworks 2024 but the setting is greyed and uneditable. Edited December 22, 2023 by ASydDesigns Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
It's possible you need to edit the Style rather than the instance. With the Railing object selected go to the 'Style' drop-down in the OIP + select either 'Edit Style' if you want the change to affect all instances of the Railing style or 'Convert to Unstyled' if you just want to edit that one particular object. ASydDesigns
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, the guardrail height is still greyed out even when set to unstyled Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
Ok if it's just the height parameter that's greyed-out perhaps you are using a 3D post symbol? I think if you use a 3D symbol for the post the height is determined by the symbol geometry, whereas if you use a 2D profile symbol the width/depth/height are all editable within the PIO settings. 3 Quote Link to comment
ASydDesigns
Ahhh!-perfect! I was using a 3D post symbol. I adjusted the 3D post symbol and that worked. Thank you! Quote Link to comment
