Marionette Object not working as expected after upgrading to 2024

I have a marionette object that I was using in 2023.  It has a control object and when you double click on the object it would give me control handles which allows me to edit the object much like a polyline.

 

Now in 2024, when i double click on the same marionette object it enters into the control object (much like entering a symbol) and does not give me the control handles.  Does anyone know why this might be happening and if there is a fix?

Adjustments were made to the Marionette tool in 2024 to help prevent user confusion with double click behavior. You should be able to use the Reshape tool on a Marionette object to show the handles. Please let me know if that doesn't work.
