- Thanks for the test file, I was able to see the problem and will look into it. In the meantime, the workaround that you can use is to make the text in the layout single line, as shown in the image below. Then the alignment will not be changed.

I figured out the workaround, but I don't want to waste time editing all my existing data tag symbols with this situation when it used to work just fine in prior versions.  I'll wait to use v2024 when this is fixed.  Yes, I have a lot of data tags.  Thanks for looking into this, and I hope it gets fixed in the next service pack.
