LeeElston Posted July 10, 2023 Share Posted July 10, 2023 I can set class visibilities in viewports and saved views, but unless I am missing something, I can't do the same in sheet layers... Am I missing something or is this normal.. and if so would it be too difficult to remedy this ? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford Posted July 10, 2023 Share Posted July 10, 2023 Layers (both Sheet and Design) share the document's Class visibilities. Your Saved Views set the document Class visibilities (along with other things). Since Sheet Layers are always 1:1 and normally don't contain much other that a Title Block/North Arrow/Scale/Notes, I have never seen a request for this before. If you really need Class visibility settings, make a blank Viewport at a 1:1 scale and move your Sheet Layer objects in the the Annotations Group of that Viewport and control the Class visibilities on the viewport. Otherwise I hope you are really good at holding your breath. It might be a while (or never) before this is even considered. 😉 Quote Link to comment
