the selected object has no edit behavior

For example, when I put a projector and screen into a drawing, I would normally be able to double click on it and it would bring up an attributes window that would allow me to edit the object instead, I am now getting a red notification window on the bottom of the screen that says the selected object has no edit behavior. Can you help me understand what I need to do to fix this I have noticed this issue in several drawings that I have been trying to work with over the past couple weeks.

Double-click behavior is something defined within the code of the plug-in itself and is not consistent across Vectorworks (Lighting Devices launch the same dialog as the Edit button from the OIP, Title Block Borders launch a dialog allowing you to edit the layout, project data, or sheet data, Instrument Summaries launch the Build Summary dialog, etc).  You are getting the warning because the Video Screen object does not have anything defined as double-click behavior.  As far as I can tell, the Video Screen object has never had double-click edit behavior, as I've tested it going back to VW2019 and receive the same message.  I can't speak to the Landru Design version of the tool, but the one that comes with VW has never had double-click edit behavior.

Hi @Mdixon3, my apologies if I am way off here, but are you trying to edit a Plug-in [in your case, picking a standard VW projector]?

Thank you for the insight and you are correct I realized that I didn't have the object info pallet open and for some reason thought that when you double clicked an object it would pull that up automatically and that's not the case. Best MD3
